CELPIP-General The CELPIP-General and CELPIP-General LS Tests allows test takers to demonstrate their capacity to operate in English and provide trained raters (i.e., evaluation evaluators) ample opportunity to assess the test taker's performance from the Writing and Speaking Tests. Evaluators are not essential for the Listening and Reading Tests because these are evaluated using a computer. The tests clearly, accurately, and precisely assess a test taker's English skills in a variety of everyday situations, including communicating with co-workers and superiors in the workplace, dealing with friends, comprehending newscasts, and interpreting and responding to written stuff. The CELPIP Test is held in two different versions the CELPIP-General Test for PR purposes and the CELPIP-General LS (Listening and Speaking) Test for custody applicants who hold a PR. The CELPIP-General Exam assesses functional Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking skills and takes about 3 hour
