The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program - CELPIP- General

The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) is a general English language proficiency Evaluation.

The CELPIP Test allows test takers to show their ability to function in English. The evaluation clearly, accurately, and precisely assesses a test taker's English skills in a variety of everyday situations, like communication with co-workers and superiors at the office, interacting with friends, comprehending newscasts, and interpreting and responding to written materials.

There are two versions of the CELPIP Evaluation: the CELPIP-General Test and the CELPIP-General LS Test. The CELPIP-General Exam assesses functional Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking skills. Along with being approved by IRCC, the CELPIP-General Test is approved from the Real Estate Council of British Columbia and Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council. The CELPIP-General LS Exam assesses functional Listening and Speaking proficiency.

The CELPIP Test is a Canadian Exam and contains Canadian English and accents. People wishing to immigrate and adapt to life in Canada will gain from utilising the English that they hear and use in their day-to-day activities. Test takers who have been immersing themselves to Canadian culture will better understand and relate to the Canadian English and accents used in the CELPIP Test.

CELPIP PROVIDE COMPUTER-DELIVERED TESTS

The CELPIP Test is completely computer delivered, providing test takers with the chance to finish all evaluation elements in 1 test sitting, without any additional interviews or appointments. CELPIP test takers use a computer mouse and keyboard to complete the Reading and Writing components of the evaluation, and a computer mic and headset to finish the Listening and Speaking components of the test. Computerised tests offer test takers a speedy and reliable testing experience.
